Kinder Jackets

Kinder Jackets is Lebanon R-3 Schools’ transitional kindergarten program, designed for children with later-in-the-year birthdays who would benefit from one more year to grow and mature before entering traditional kindergarten.

Learning at the Right Pace

In Kinder Jackets, students learn at a slightly different pace, giving them more time to strengthen key academic, social, and emotional skills. The program focuses on developing early literacy and math, language, and fine and gross motor skills in an environment that gives them confidence for the future.

Building Confidence for Lifelong Success

Our goal is to help each child gain the confidence and skills needed for lifelong academic growth. By the end of the year, Kinder Jackets students are well-prepared to enter kindergarten excited, capable, and ready to shine as Yellowjackets!
